VibeSec

Terms of Service

Last updated: June 16, 2026

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of VibeSec (the "Service"), a website security scanner that runs checks against a target you provide and explains the results in plain language. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

VibeSec performs passive and, when you request it, active security checks against a target website and produces a report of findings and suggested fixes. The Service relies on third-party and open-source scanning engines. It is an aid to improving your security, not a certification, audit, or guarantee that your site is secure.

2. Authorization and acceptable use

You may only scan a website that you own or that you are explicitly authorized to test. Active scanning sends test requests to the target, so before any active scan you must confirm that you own or are authorized to test it. That confirmation is recorded in our audit log. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have permission to scan any target you submit.

You agree not to use the Service to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are scanning targets without authorization or otherwise violating these Terms.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must provide an accurate email address. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service.

4. Plans, payments, and refunds

Paid plans are sold as a one-time payment that grants a fixed period of access (currently 30 days, no automatic renewal) and a scan allowance for that period. Scan credit packs are one-time purchases. Prices are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment providers (PayPal and PayMongo); we do not store your full card details.

Because access and scans are delivered immediately, payments are generally non-refundable. If something goes wrong on our side, contact us at support@vibesecurity.uk and we will review refund requests in good faith.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. A clean or low-severity report does not mean your site is free of vulnerabilities. Automated scanning cannot find every issue, and new vulnerabilities appear constantly. You remain responsible for your own security. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that findings will be complete or free of false positives.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VibeSec and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, including any security incident affecting a site you scanned. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold VibeSec harmless from any claim or demand arising out of your use of the Service, your scans of any target, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to us. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Philippines.
